Terms and Conditions – Sydney Wedding Time

If you have any questions about any detail here, please don’t hesitate to contact us and seek clarification. 

By paying a deposit, you agree to the Terms & Conditions set by Sydney Wedding Time.

  • A non-refundable booking fee of 20% is necessary to secure our services for a specific day.

  • You're agreeing to pay us the full amount that has been discussed, therefore any payments you make (regardless of when they're made) are non-refundable, regardless of whether the event occurs.

  • A final payment of 80% is due up to four weeks before the assignment day.  

  • The photo bundle includes photo editing. cropping, color correction, and color adjustment are all examples of this (I.E. black and whites). Body parts shrinking, airbrushing, erasing skin imperfections, combining photographs, and so on are not covered. These services are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

  • If the customer requests a music change or other small adjustments after the video has been sent, we only allow these changes once; anything requested after two weeks will either not be possible or will incur fees.

  • If the wedding is cancelled or incorrect date is provided to Sydney Wedding Time, all installments are non-refundable. Once you book with us, our personnel is committed to you and will decline any other work that comes their way.

  • All photographs that may be used for online promotional reasons, such as our social media pages and websites, are owned by Sydney Wedding Time. If you'd like your photographs to be kept private, please let us know ahead of time so we can meet your request. If no instructions to the contrary are given, we shall assume it is acceptable to post certain images/films online.

  • It is believed that the client would inform attendees that film and/or photos will be shot on the day and that they may be used for advertising purposes. It is the client's duty to notify Sydney Wedding Time employees in writing prior to the wedding day that a certain guest or guests are not to be filmed or photographed.

  • Food should be provided to Sydney Wedding Time workers while we are staying at the reception. If the customer (or guests) are provided with food, it is expected that Sydney Wedding Time personnel will be provided with food as well.

  • Sydney Wedding Time will make every effort to deliver proof material (edited photos/film) within 12 weeks or less. During high periods (and on extremely rare circumstances), this may be extended, but Sydney Wedding Time will do everything necessary to meet or surpass these deadlines.

  • Albums, prints, and other goods are not included in the above timeframes. This timeline is dependent on a number of things, including how quickly you return your selections and how much time we have to spend designing/redesigning album pages. All of these variables lead to the expansion of timeframes. We also work with an outside supplier for our albums (obviously, they aren't printed in-house), so while our interactions with them have been mostly favourable, we can't be held responsible for any problems or delays on their end.

  • Additional photography and video hours on the day or evening of your event will be charged at $200 per hour for photography and $250 for video. All hours on site are continuous coverage, which means the day cannot be divided into distinct halves unless agreed upon at the time of booking.

  • Sydney Wedding Time accepts no duty or obligation for footage/photos that is lost, missing, or damaged. Because this is a live event, it is not always practical or possible to capture every detail, but be assured that we do our best to deliver the finest possible outcome.

  • Clients are responsible for arranging pick-up of finished products from our Studio. If pickup is not available, the client can arrange for postage/courier at his or her expense. Sydney Wedding Time is not responsible for anything that are lost or damaged during shipping.

  • drone coverage Only available if the weather is not harsh, obviously drone can not operate in rain or high winds, They're still electronic devices, so that means no flying in inclement weather (rain, snow, high winds, etc.), we are not offering any refund on such cases as we have no control over weather conditions.

  • It is assumed that the client will make arrangements with the venue (or council) for an appropriate parking spot for Sydney Wedding Time Staff when parking is problematic (i.e. CBD, paid parking only, etc.). If this isn't done, Sydney Wedding Time Staff will park in an appropriate spot and charge the customer for any parking fees.

  • In the unlikely event that the assigned photographer or videographer from SYDNEY WEDDING TIME is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of the SYDNEY WEDDING TIME including not being able to cover the event, the SYDNEY WEDDING TIME will make every effort to secure a replacement. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the EVENT(S). In the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond SYDNEY WEDDING TIME’s control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction, SYDNEY WEDDING TIME’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the EVENT(S). The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of total number of originals. SYDNEY WEDDING TIME is not liable for the loss of images beyond the lesser of the final delivery of all products included in the package or one year.

  • Clients are responsible for determining whether a permit is required to use their property for a wedding photoshoot by contacting local governments (or landowners). The client is responsible for any payments associated with the usage of any property.

  • Sydney Wedding Time takes no responsible for backing up the contents, including photographs and video, after delivery; if you obtain a link for photos or film, please download it within 14 days, since we remove the photos and video from the link beyond that timeframe.
